Here in nothern Sweden it´s almoust impossible to keep a olive- tree alive through the long, dark and hard vinter, even when it is planted in a pot, and keep indoors. Someone told me sometime that a olive- tree can not die. And they will still be here after we are gone (hopefully!)... And we have one, not far from where I live, that is dated over 2000 years, it's kind of a national monument. I believe they're amazing trees.
