Foto do dia

  5. Hi Chamomilla! This tree should be over 1000 years old. And we have one, not far from where I live, that is dated over 2000 years, it's kind of a national monument. I believe they're amazing trees. Cheers!

  6. That's incredible, just to think what these trees have seen in their lifetimes, all the different human cultures and changes of regimes... And they will still be here after we are gone (hopefully!)... The oldest trees in our country are some 500 years old linden and oak trees, and we have one almost 1000 year old yew growing by a gothic castle where it was planted at the time the castle was built.

  7. What a beautiful tree. Here in nothern Sweden it´s almoust impossible to keep a olive- tree alive through the long, dark and hard vinter, even when it is planted in a pot, and keep indoors. Someone told me sometime that a olive- tree can not die. I have other experienses.
    Have a nice evening.
