What time of year would be best to see these wonderful flowers?
ResponderEliminarHi Barry. We have a early Spring in Winter, so the best time is always between January and May. The Algarve, with its Mediterranean climate, is also very rich in wild aromatic plants, like rosemary, cistus and thyme; so, as you can imagine, the air is full with all these scents. Besides theses flowers, there's also the orange and almond tree's blossom, with their very characteristic scent.
ResponderEliminarReally nice collection! I really love the second group...the last flower on the left side. It looks like a star. WHAT IS IT?!?! Please let me know!
ResponderEliminarLove your blog!

ResponderEliminarHi Kimberly! Thanks for following my blog and for admiring our local flowers. The one you mention is one of the few that I haven't been able to find its name, as we have hundreds of them... But I too find its geometrical shape really amazing. Hope to hear from you soon!
