É durante o mês de Janeiro que, habitualmente, esta crassula floresce, ficando completamente revestida de flores brancas. Este exemplar tem cerca de 25 anos e já vai com cerca de 1,7 m de altura. Foi sempre uma planta fácil, pois, para além da água da chuva, não precisa de outros cuidados. Já mudou várias vezes de localização e neste momento está num local com muita sombra. É originária da África do Sul e desde sempre fez parte dos vasos de flores das nossas avós. Conheço no Algarve um jardim com muitos exemplares mais velhos que formam um pequeno labirinto, dado o porte que já atingem. Infelizmente, é muito pouco resistente à geada...

Iam in Algarve for Easter and Iam so looking forward to the walks on the countryside around Ferreiras up to Paderne!. Messines... Spring is so very beautifull there. Cold and very grey as usual here in Croydon England. I will be visiting again.
